Show Me What You're Thinkin ♥
I had a long discussion with Noel on the 7 Feb 08 about my decision of resigning. We talked about the things that influenced or some-what-rather forced me into that decision. I mean...I wont deny that I really enjoy working at Starbucks. But the problems that keep on surfacing and the bittersweet experiences somehow encouraged me to come to that decision. Okie....Let me list the reasons of my resignation;

1) School. My class is going to start the TEP in our first semester of the 2nd year. Which means.....9am - 6pm from Mondays till Fridays....So....this means that I can only commit on weekends.

2) Weekends. I've another part-time job as a Librarian Officer at SBCL (my mom's work place). I'm contributing mostly on weekends for this job. Shifts - Morning 11am - 3pm and Afternoon 3pm - 9pm. The pay is slightly lower than what Starbucks is offering. But the workload and responsibility is so much lighter as compared to Starbucks. And....the location....one MRT stop away from home.

So you see....If I choose to stay....I've burnt my weekends....A sacrifice that I'm doing even right now. But you see....my SAYANG is serving the Nation soon. Which means....he'll booked out mostly on weekends....BUT AGAIN....it's too early to predict....Let's not let that one point hinders the other priorities.

3) The things I've been through while at Orchard Point were really the tests of personal development. There's too many to point out...and if I start....this entry will be the longest. After the phone confrontation and the aftermath confrontation. I was so determine to leave the system as I cannot tolerate the politics that are going on in the store. This was the actual fact that drive and motivate me to move out despite me earning and still learning of the leadership qualities.

Okie....as I mentioned at the start.....Noel and I discussed and we agreed that the three of us should sit together and sort this conflict out....well....after several thoughts....I think I will give it a shot and really settle things that affects my choice.

Well...my resignation (which I took back from Noel considering of the fact that I want the three of us to sit and discuss)...Its not confirmed yet...I will decide again after the 3 of us talk....Ohya....we'll be talking about it on the 16th Feb. I really do hope that my stubborn and hard self (but I'm still a forgiving person...) can trust and respect him back. BUT he have to Earn that trust and respect of COURSE....

So.....my decision depends on whats going to happen during the trio discussion....
